Job summary

OWYHEE HEALTH & REHABILITATION CENTER - HOMEDALE, ID is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in‑house therapy team. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilled, medically necessary treatments for residents and support rehabilitation goals.

The role includes ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and progress assessment, with accurate reporting to the supervising OT to adjust plans as needed and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - PRN

Owyhee Health & Rehabilitation Center is a post‑acute care facility with long‑term care, short‑term care, and geriatric outpatient services. We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in‑house therapy team.

Duties

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes’ effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
