Rivers Edge Rehabilitation in Emmett, ID is a post-acute care facility providing long-term and short-term care for geriatric clients. We are seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program, with a flexible schedule and work-life balance.

Join our team to contribute to recovery and quality of care within a CAPLICO-values driven environment. Graduate of an accredited OTA program with an active state license is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Education

Rivers Edge Rehabilitation in Emmett, ID is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities
