Job summary

Madera Post Acute Center in El Monte, CA, is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the in-house therapy team. The role includes providing rehabilitative care under supervision, administering ADL retraining, and monitoring patient progress in a post-acute care setting.

We offer a flexible PRN schedule with compensation ranging from $35 to $45 per hour, depending on experience. Eligible candidates must graduate from an accredited OTA program and maintain active licensure where

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Madera Post Acute Center in El Monte, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team.

PRN: Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay: $35- $45/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities
