The COTA will assist the Occupational Therapist in planning, directing and administering OT services in the facility in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Maintain treatment records, patients files and progress notes as required.

Maintain the confidentiality of all patient care information including protected health information.

Work with the facility's consultants as necessary.

Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting etc. as necessary.

Follow established safety standards for the occupational therapy department.

Comply with the facility's established safety precautions at all times.
