Job summary

Berthoud Care & Rehabilitation in Berthoud, CO is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team. We offer flexible PRN scheduling and opportunities for training in Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care, dementia care, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory recovery programs.

You will provide rehabilitative treatments under supervision, with guidance on ADL retraining and therapeutic activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

BERTHOUDCARE & REHABILITATION - BERTHOUD, CO

Join our team and start making a difference! Berthoud Care is a post‑acute care facility offering long‑term care, short‑term care, and geriatric outpatient services. We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in‑house therapy team and receive opportunities for training and continuing education in Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care and dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory recovery programs.

Schedule & Pay

PRN: Flexible schedule with work‑life balance. Pay: $35 - $40/hour based on experience.

Duties

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
