In addition, Pediatric Therapy Solutions operates Play and Learn Preschool, a specialized preschool program for children ages 2 through 5 with developmental challenges. Role Description

The Occupational Therapy Assistant is a full-time, on-site role located in Baton Rouge, LA. This role supports licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans, providing direct patient care, and assisting with therapeutic activities that promote functional independence and developmental progress. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing treatment environments, guiding children and some adult clients through individual and group therapy sessions, documenting services and progress, and communicating with families and caregivers about therapeutic strategies. The Occupational Therapy Assistant also collaborates with the broader therapy and preschool team, assists with home programs, and helps maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive clinical setting.
