Job summary

Way To Grow LLC is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Maryland. You will work closely with Occupational Therapists and other Assistants to deliver therapy and support for patients and their families, following established care plans and educating parents on home activities to support goals.

You will help maintain therapy spaces and equipment, demonstrate exercises, and track patient progress, applying OT guidelines with strong time management and customer

Qualifications

• Current state licensing for occupational therapy assistant required.
• Previous experience working in a pediatric occupational therapy setting desired.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with sensory integration theory and practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• The ability to make decisions in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all plans of care and therapy laid out for patients under your care.
• Assist Occupational Therapists with exercises, communication, and care coordination as needed.
• Assemble, clean, and maintain equipment and materials used on a daily basis.
• Attend care plans for patients, provide input, and go over patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team! As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will be working closely with Occupational Therapists as well as other Assistants to provide therapy and support for our patients and their families.
