Job summary

Maplewood Rehab and Nursing in Amesbury, MA is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will implement treatment plans, provide direct therapy, and document progress under supervision.

A Massachusetts COTA license and NBCOT certification are required; experience in skilled nursing preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Massachusetts COTA license or eligibility.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing/rehab preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the OT.
• Provide direct therapy services to residents per goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress; communicate updates to OT.
• Assist with patient evaluations and discharge planning.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams.
