Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as an Occupational Therapy Aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help maintain a positive clinic environment with attentive front-desk and patient support.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas according to therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and assist with billing procedures.
• Support front office tasks during downtime, including phone calls, document scanning, appointment scheduling, and payments.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing materials and facilitation as directed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment; handle daily cleaning and stocking.

About The Role

As a Occupational Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: Cal Rehab & Sports Therapy

Pay: $16.90/hour

Schedule: Part time - clinic is open M-F 7am-7pm

Location: 2388 W Lincoln Ave. Anaheim, CA 92801

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.
