Job summary

  • Master’s/ Doctorate degree in Occupational therapy required.
  • Experience in a hospital setting.
  • Must have DC License before start of employment.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals by AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy assessment and treatment to inpatients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for interdisciplinary care.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehab plans to improve functional outcomes.
  • Participate in unit and system-based quality initiatives and evidence-based practice.
  • Elevate patient care through communication and clinical excellence.
