Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Oahu Visits team, delivering in-home care and crafting treatment plans to help clients achieve independence.

Licensed OT in Hawaii with at least some experience, travel readiness, and a strong foundation in rehabilitation will thrive in our multidisciplinary setting focused on compassionate, high-quality home health care.

Qualifications

• Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Hawaii.
• Be willing to travel within assigned territory.
• Graduate from an OT curriculum accredited by AMA/AOTA.
• 1 year of OT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patient functional status and ADL/IADL performance.
• Develop and monitor individualized OT treatment plans.
• Assess home environments for hazards and accessibility barriers.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and independent living.
• Document observations and interventions accurately.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Oahu Visits team. OT’s work with clients in their home, craft treatment plans, and apply innovative techniques to help them reach their goals. How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance

• Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects of performance and develop individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes

• Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to more independent living

• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations resulting in enhanced outcomes for clients

• Continually assess and revise the occupational therapy care plan and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan

• Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety and independent living

• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a BAYADA Occupational Therapist:

• Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Hawaii
• Must be willing to travel in assigned territory
• Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred

Type: Full-Time

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $70-$75 per point
