Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility in Stockton, CA. You will assess, treat, document progress and participate in care planning to promote functional independence for older adults.

The assignment offers 35 hours per week with potential float to nearby facilities and a comprehensive benefits package including housing, medical, 401k, and recruiter support.

Qualifications

• Active California OT license to start assignment.
• BLS certification may be required.

Job description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a skilled nursing facility in Stockton, CA.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress for older adult populations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with adaptive equipment, ADL training, and fall prevention programs preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: .
• Work days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
• 35 guaranteed hours per week.
• May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
