Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered OT services within an interdisciplinary team.

You will develop and implement treatment plans, evaluate progress, and coordinate with staff to optimize residents’ daily functioning and safety. You will supervise OT assistants and rehab technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in care conferences while advancing clinical skills through ongoing education and professional

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapist license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Optimize patient functionality by providing, directing, and supervising OT services.
• Comply with state and federal documentation and billing guidelines.
• Establish and maintain patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Directly supervise OT assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Develop and enhance OT programs and services to support quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and patient rights policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational and patient information.
• Maintain licensure and uphold ethical professional standards.
