Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver comprehensive therapy, assess patient needs, and develop personalized care plans to support independence and improved quality of life.

You will work within a collaborative team, providing compassionate, patient-centered care and using evidence-based approaches. A current state OT license and BLS/CPR certification (or within 30 days) are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Direct care to patients requiring occupational therapy.
• Ability to develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Ability to document patient status and communicate with care teams.
• Must hold current OT state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT care to patients in need of therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to support physical, mental, and emotional recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and milestones along the recovery journey.
