Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care in our rehabilitation setting. You will supervise care and treatments, lead assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns to support recovery.

Licensed in Occupational Therapy is required. BLS/CPR must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• License or Certification: Must be in possession of current state license in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
