Qualifications

• Must meet all prescribed professional requirements and rules of professional conduct as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must be able to complete a successful background check and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement therapeutic activities to enhance patients' daily living skills.
• Educate patients and their families on coping strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient evaluations and progress notes.
• Advocate for patient needs in various settings.
• Stay updated on the latest research in occupational therapy.

Ability to handle workload and travel to client's homes

Strong leadership qualities

Basic computer skills, including word processing

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Education

Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
