This is a PRN (as needed) position.
Occupational Therapists provide treatment to help patients develop and improve their ability to perform daily tasks related to work and life. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, developing treatment plans based on physician referrals, documenting care, and guiding support staff. This may involve outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings.

Licensed Occupational Therapist in the current practicing state or eligible for traineeship/temporary license. BLS certification preferred upon hire; required within 30 days for BSMH or at hire for RSFH.
Preferred: 2 years in a similar setting.

Provides age-appropriate care for all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles.
Includes high-stress periods, travel up to 10%, exposure to noise, bright lights, potential physical altercations, hazardous substances, and infectious materials. May require use of restraints and protective equipment. May work alone and travel to off-site locations.
Includes lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing, balancing, bending, sitting, walking, and standing. Additional demands include manual dexterity, ability to maneuver patients, hear alarms, reach overhead, repetitive movements, and visual acuity. Hazards include exposure to dust, fumes, electrical shock, radiation, and gases.
