Job summary

Creekside Healthcare Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT). We value our employees and provide a professional, supportive environment.

The OT evaluates, plans and administers treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions and participates in an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires a CA OT license with 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments as appropriate to ensure safe discharge.
