Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across age groups. You will design individualized therapy plans, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to support discharge planning and patient progress.

The role is non-exempt with a Mon-Fri schedule, one weekend day per month, and a 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM shift. A current MA OT license and a completed AOTA certification or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Current MA state OT license is required.
• AOTA certification exam completed or eligible and scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and perform treatments for diverse patient populations.
• Create and adjust plans of care with short and long-term goals.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about therapy goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapy teams for discharge planning.
• Monitor progress and communicate findings to the care team.
