Job summary

Soliant is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support students across four buildings near Plainfield, IL. This contract role offers a stable schedule and the chance to impact learning for ages K–12 in a supportive district.

You’ll deliver OT services aligned with IEPs, adapt therapies for diverse ages, and collaborate with teachers and staff across buildings. In-person work is required. Typical week is 35 hours with a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

• Caseload managed by minutes (8,000–9,000 per quarter)
• Strong communication, organization and collaboration in multiple schools

This contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to support a diverse caseload across four buildings—two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school—near Plainfield, IL. With a start date as soon as possible running through May 25, 2027, you'll have the chance to positively impact students ranging from early learners to high school seniors, making every day a valuable learning experience.

Key Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (please provide license number with your application)
• Recent experience or comfort working in school settings with students from K-12
• Ability to manage a caseload measured by minutes (8,000–9,000 per quarter) versus number of students
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills for thriving in multiple school environments
• Must be available for in-person work; remote candidates will not be considered

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services and interventions to students in accordance with IEP goals, district policies, and practices
• Adapt therapy approaches for a range of ages and developmental levels
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators across multiple buildings to best support student achievement
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and participate in team-based decision making
