Job summary

CORA Services, Inc. invites applications for an Occupational Therapist to support charter schools in the Philadelphia area.

This is a full-time, 10-month position with a minimum starting salary of $66,500, and the role requires travel to multiple charter schools in the region. Responsibilities include school-based therapy, treatment planning, progress reporting, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff to maximize students’ educational access and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical or occupational therapy program; Master’s degree preferred
  • License to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania
  • Experience in a school setting
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships within CORA team members as well as with students, families, teachers and other paraprofessionals
  • Demonstrated passion for engaging children and supporting their therapeutic needs
  • Good computer skills and working knowledge of Office 365 applications

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, treatment planning and implementing school-based therapy for school-aged children with intellectual and developmental delays to enhance students’ ability to access and make progress in their educational program
  • Treating and instructing students in perceptual and motor activities, and activities of daily living to enhance ability to access educational programming; educating school staff on necessary procedures, special precautions, and safety measures applicable to individual students as well as the student population as a whole
  • Developing therapeutic goals and completing progress reports; consulting with teachers, parents, paraprofessionals, and others as appropriate; engaging parents to ensure students utilize skills acquired in therapy
  • Adherence to all program and agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management, and maintaining a consistent schedule of services at assigned schools
  • Supervising COTA or OT fieldwork students as needed
  • Completing other related duties and projects as assigned or required

Occupational Therapist for Charter Schools in Philadelphia

2026-2027 school year

This is a full-time,10-month position

Minimum starting salary $66,500

Salary commensurate with experience. This position does require you to travel and work with children at multiple Charter Schools in the Philadelphia area. All CORA team members are expected to uphold the mission, vision and values of CORA Services which includes valuing all individuals and supporting each individual’s potential for growth. In addition, as an Occupational Therapist at CORA your duties will include:



  • Assessing, treatment planning and implementing school-based therapy for school-aged children with intellectual and developmental delays to enhance students’ ability to access and make progress in their educational program

Minimum Qualifications
