Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary educational team. In this role, you will work directly with students who have diverse learning, physical, and developmental needs. Your goal will be to develop, implement, and monitor individualized interventions that help students build the functional skills required to fully participate and thrive in their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and screenings to determine students' functional capabilities and needs.
- Develop individualized goals and treatment plans aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, parents, and administrators to ensure integrated support.
- Participate in IEP to report on student progress, recommendations, and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, daily session notes, and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and families on assistive technologies, classroom adaptations, and sensory strategies.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
- NBCOT certification required.
- 1-2 years of school-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
