Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess patients, develop recovery plans, and deliver in-facility OT services. You will help restore independence and function through individualized therapy programs while collaborating with directors and rehab staff.

You will train patients and caregivers, ensuring a holistic approach to healing and maximizing outcomes across diverse care settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid, unencumbered OT license as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans for occupational therapy.
• Deliver occupational therapy treatments in facility settings.
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance independence and function.
• Collaborate with rehab team and refer to care providers as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote ongoing independence.
