Job summary

CHI Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and quality of life in the Minot area. You will assess diverse patients, develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and documenting thoroughly.

You will also teach new skills, train in adaptive equipment, and support patients returning to work as part of a high-volume care delivery model. Must be licensed in ND and hold BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by AOTA and ACHEA
• Home health experience required
• ND OT license required
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required
• Driver’s License: ND must be held by candidate

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s functional status and home environment to identify barriers to independence
• Develop treatment plans and set goals for improved function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and document thoroughly
• Provide instruction for daily activities and retraining as needed
• Fabricate splints or instruct on adaptive equipment usage to improve function
• Train patients in use of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices
