Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE in Georgia seeks an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, implement, and monitor rehabilitative programs that restore or improve daily living activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination for patients recovering from disease or injury.

You will document evaluations and plans of care, educate patients and families, coordinate discharge and follow-up, and work with physicians, staff, and administration to ensure ethical, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• OT license and BLS certification required upon hire.
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements the occupational therapy treatment plan.
• Collaborates with physician to establish plan of care and discharge goals.
• Documents evaluation and plan of care per guidelines.
• Provides patient and family education and discharge instructions.
• Adheres to ethical standards and collaborates with staff and patients.
• Participates in staff meetings and mandatory competencies.
