Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist for the Occupational Therapy Unit. This part-time role with 8-hour day shifts focuses on evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing therapies to improve patients’ functional status within established care objectives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and develop written treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide ongoing treatments to improve functional status in line with treatment goals.
  • Adhere to Occupational Therapy policies and professional standards.

The Staff Occupational Therapist (OTR) is responsible for completing evaluations, developing written treatment plans, and providing on-going treatments that are designed to improve the patient's functional status in conjunction with overall treatment objectives. Meets all clinical, organizational and position requirements as defined in the Occupational Therapy policies for Scope of Practice and Professional Standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy; graduation from accredited college or university., Or

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy; graduation from accredited college or university.

  • Upon hire: California Occupational Therapist License

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Epic EMR experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
