U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Occupational Therapist assigned to the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, PMRS. The incumbent will independently assess veterans’ physical, cognitive and psychosocial deficits and design targeted treatment plans.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, monitoring progress, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Certification and licensure are required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must possess NBCOT certification as an OT.
• Must possess a full, current, unrestricted state license to practice occupational therapy.

Responsabilités

• Independently assess Veterans' physical, occupational, cognitive and psychosocial deficits.
• Develop and coordinate intervention plans with stated goals and treatment methods.
• Implement intervention plans directly or with other professionals.
• Monitor patient responses and modify plans as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers and interdisciplinary team in writing and verbally.
