Job summary

WESTERVILLE in is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and supervise assistants. You will collaborate with physicians and families, document services, and contribute to quality improvements in a healthcare facility. Strong communication and clinical assessment skills are essential.

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required; a Master's/Doctorate is preferred. Licensure in the state and CPR certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Licensed to practice as OT in the state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and inter-disciplinary team.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per regulations and policies.
• Educate residents and families on goals and home exercise programs.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and participate in quality initiatives.

Education
