Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver timely OT services in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit and Outpatient General Rehabilitation at the MEDVAMC RECL. The OT supports patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, under supervision from Rehabilitation leadership.

Applicants must have ACOTE-accredited OT education, NBCOT certification, and an active state license. Graduate OT options with licensure pending may be considered in limited cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT with two years' experience, or two years of related graduate study.
• Master's degree or higher in OT.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program with required supervised fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit and Outpatient General Rehabilitation.
• Develop and coordinate evaluation findings, goals and treatment plans with the care team.
• Ensure documentation and licensure/certification compliance.
