Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate, treat, and discharge plan for patients across acute care and rehab settings at our Doylestown location. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize function and independence for patients.

The role requires an OT degree, valid state license, and NBCOT certification, with 0–2 years of clinical practice (1 year preferred). Rotating shifts are possible in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Experience: 0-2 years of clinical practice required. 1 year preferred.
• Valid state license in Occupational Therapy.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• CPR certification required by American Heart Association / BLS

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, treatment interventions and discharge planning for a full patient caseload.
• Participate in student education.
• Participates in education and teaching commensurate with novice clinician.
• Plans, organizes and delivers treatment programs for recovery and rehabilitation.
• Utilizes tools and techniques for safe therapeutic interventions and trainings.
• Records and documents patients' health progress, daily treatments, evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
