You will supervise PTAs, document progress in the EMR, and communicate with physicians, patients, and families to coordinate care and discharge planning. Strong assessment and evidence-based practice are essential.

Formación

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong communication with patients, families and health-team members.
• Ability to supervise and support PTAs and rehabilitation aides.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and review medical history.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by observing patients as they move.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coach patients and teach therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintain patient records and discharge summaries.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support interventions.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients and families.
