Job summary

American Advanced Management is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. You will assess patients, plan care, deliver treatment, and consult with a general rehab caseload.

You will participate in the clinical interdisciplinary team, provide teaching to caregiver staff, and contribute to clinical program development. Supervising licensed staff and students may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the applicable State Licensing Board.
• Long term acute care experience is preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Perform patient assessment and care planning.
• Deliver direct treatment and consult to a general rehab caseload.
• Participate in the clinical interdisciplinary team process.
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involved in clinical program development and supervision of licensed therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required
