Job summary

Chico Terrace is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care within the therapy department. You will evaluate patients, plan and supervise treatment, and document care in the medical record.

Collaboration with physicians and families is essential to support optimal patient outcomes. The role requires current OT licensure and the ability to educate staff and families on rehabilitation plans.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatments.
• Ability to supervise and direct assistants and aides.
• Understanding of physical modalities used in OT.
• Familiarity with prosthetic/orthotic devices and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support activities for therapy outcomes.
• Perform accurate patient evaluations and develop plans of treatment.
• Supervise assistants and aides in patient care and activities.
• Document in medical records and manage billing-related notes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and family caregivers.
