Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, treat, and discharge plan for a full patient caseload across acute care, skilled facilities, and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes maximizing patients' physical, cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing functions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, provide student education opportunities, document progress, and participate in program development while adhering to the hospital mission and values.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an OT program.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Patient care related experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload.
• Participate in student education opportunities (ICE, OT level 1 or full-time).
• Plan and deliver treatment programs to help clients recover and rehabilitate.
• Document health progress, daily treatments, evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to coordinate plans and care.
