Job summary

North Dade Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in North Miami, Florida, seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist Registered to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide OT services, assess patients, and help them reach maximum potential within our care setting.

You must be licensed in Florida, CPR certified, and prepared to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Prior OT experience is preferred; HIPAA guidelines are followed, and all documentation is up to date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care and instruction to patients and their families
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Registered to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As an Occupational Therapist Registered, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential by providing exceptional occupational therapy services.

About the Role:

• Provide occupational therapy services within the scope of practice to patients in a rehabilitation setting


• Communicate and respond clearly via telephone and respond to patient's needs


• Ensure HIPAA guidelines and procedures are maintained


• Perform evaluations and assessments to identify treatment goals and plans


• Must be currently licensed in the state of Florida


• Prefer one year of experience in occupational therapy


• Valid CPR card and all documentation up to date: professional license, driver's license, CPR, CEU's, Physical, and background check (ACHA)
