The ideal candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, monitor patient progress, and provide education to families. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, a Texas OT license, and at least 1-2 years of rehab experience. This role requires commitment to patient care and the ability to work occasional weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited OT program is required.
Licensed (OT) Occupational Therapist in Texas is required.
A minimum of 1-2 years working in a rehab setting required.
Responsibilities
Evaluating each patient’s functional abilities and needs.
Delivering skilled evidence-based interventions.
Monitoring patient progress and adjusting plans as needed.
Educating patients and families throughout recovery.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners.
Providing guidance to therapy assistants or students.
