Job summary

Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work on the Behavioral Health Unit. Under supervision of the Rehab Service Coordinator, you will perform structured evaluations, assist in planning and implementing treatment programs for individuals with psychosocial dysfunction, and provide supervision to COTAs.

This PRN role requires a Bachelor's degree, Maryland OT license, and CPR certification; a minimum of two years' experience and psychosocial practice are

Summary

Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center, Under the supervision of the Rehab Service Coordinator, performs structured evaluations, conducts general activity programs, assists in planning and implementing treatment programs for individuals limited by psychosocial dysfunction. Provides supervision to COTAs. Utilities knowledge appropriate to the patient(s) age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the patient. This position is on the Behavioral Health Unit. PRN hours would be a minimum of 1-2 weekend day shifts per month with occasional weekday and holiday hours.

Requirements

• Required Bachelor's Degree


• Minimum of 2 years' experience Required


• Psychosocial practice experience preferred, but would consider related experience.


• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider


• Initial OT certification by AOTCB or NBCOT


• OT - Occupational Therapist (Maryland) License

Pay Range: $60.00 to $60.00
