Summary

We are hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) for Home Health services. The OT is responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, adaptive equipment, and other occupational therapy needs as defined by medical conditions. Based on this assessment, the OT helps to develop a treatment plan, performs interventions to improve the patient's well-being, and evaluates the patient's progress.

*Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist in Home Health is responsible for:

• Providing services within the scope of practice defined by state laws, in accordance with the plan of care, using evidence-based techniques, and coordinating with the healthcare team
• Evaluating the patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs, and consulting with physicians on the therapy plan of care
• Monitoring and reporting patient responses to treatment and changes in condition
• Conducting assessments to evaluate functional ability

Education and Experience

License Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapy license in Florida
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation
