HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking an Occupational Therapist PRN to join our team. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and provide hands-on, evidence-based therapy to promote recovery and independence within a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient’s functional abilities and needs, developing individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing, independence, and quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure thorough, timely documentation reflecting outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement during recovery and beyond.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care and exceptional patient experiences.
• Lead by example—guide therapy assistants or students and uphold HCA Healthcare’s mission and values.
