Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital system is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join Parham Doctors' Hospital in Virginia. You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands-on therapy to support recovery across stages of healing.

The role requires VA licensure, AOTA- accredited OT education, and BLS certification at hire. Prior acute care experience is preferred; new grads are considered. Comprehensive benefits are offered to support health and retirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• BLS - required at time of hire.
• Licensed in the State of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Clinical management of the patient, ensuring safety and care quality.
• Ensures satisfaction of patients, visitors, physicians and staff. Upholds ICARE values.
• Participates in Quality Management activities and uses effective communication.
• Keeps aware of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Promotes cost-effective unit operations and documents care using appropriate tools.
• Maintains competencies in relevant clinical areas and pursues professional growth.
• Complies with professional, regulatory and departmental standards.
