Job summary

Valley View Manor is hiring an In-House Occupational Therapist to join our organization and become a part of our team. The OT will work in a SNF setting to provide quality services and participate in an interdisciplinary team to support resident independence and quality of life.

The position offers full-time employment with benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passage of National Certification examination for OT.
• Current OT License (or is license-eligible) in the State of practice.

Responsibilities

• To provide quality occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals
• To supervise and direct the Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in the implementation of treatment plans

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

National Certification examination for OT
