Job summary

Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH is seeking an Occupational Therapist to partner with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence‑based therapy that restores independence and quality of life. You will assess patient needs, design personalized plans, and provide hands‑on treatment across the recovery continuum.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of start date.
• Occupational Therapist License (OT) required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients' functional abilities and developing individualized therapy plans with physicians and care teams.
• Delivering evidence‑based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitoring progress, adjusting plans, and documenting outcomes.
• Educating patients and families to support understanding and engagement.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners for safe transitions of care.
• Mentoring therapy assistants or students and upholding core values.

Your role will include:

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences.
• Leading by example—providing guidance to therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
