Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate occupational therapy services for residents and patients.
• Coordinate OT programs with Rehabilitation Director and team to meet KPIs.
• Ensure timely screening, evaluation, treatment, discharge, and documentation requirements.
• Adhere to facility policies for documenting, billing, and coding OT services.
• Participate in daily/weekly interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss therapy progression.
• Build positive relationships with residents, staff, and families.

Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in leading, guiding, and directing the delivery of occupational therapy services, ensuring our residents receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the delivery of occupational therapy services, programs, and activities in accordance with current state and federal laws and regulations, as well as respective practice acts in the state.
• Coordinate the achievement and reporting of the facility's key performance indicators for occupational therapy.
• Evaluate and report key performance indicator outcomes to the Rehabilitation Director to determine the need for action.
• Develop and implement processes and systems to effectively lead, guide, and direct the delivery of occupational therapy services, including processes for timely screening, evaluation, treatment, discharge, and documentation requirements.
• Comply with facility policies and procedures for documenting, billing, and coding for residents receiving occupational therapy.
• Participate in daily, weekly, and/or monthly rehabilitative and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss residents' therapy progression.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, employees, and family members through scheduled interactions.

Requirements

• A valid, unrestricted license in your therapy discipline in the state.
• Meet educational requirements of your licensure requirements.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
• Knowledgeable about skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
