Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN weekend and holiday coverage on site in Akron, Ohio. You will evaluate, assess and treat patients with a range of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities, and collaborate with families and care teams to deliver comprehensive care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, NBCOT certification and current Ohio licensure, plus experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's degree preferred.
• NBCOT certification and Ohio licensure required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform documentation and patient/family education.
• Supervise COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.

Education and Experience

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required; Master's degree is preferred.
2. Certification: Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.
   
3. Years of relevant experience: Minimum 3 years is preferred.
   
4. Years of experience supervising: None.
