Job summary

Universal Health Services operates Aiken Regional Medical Centers, a 273-bed acute care facility in Aiken, South Carolina. The Occupational Therapy department delivers evaluation, plan development, treatment, and discharge planning for inpatients in an acute care setting.

This PRN OT position requires a degree in OT, SC licensure, BLS, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Compensation includes competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within UHS.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Prefer 1 year experience in acute care setting but not required.
• Current SC license, BLS.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective interpersonal skills. Clinical competence. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services (evaluation, treatment plan development, treatment, delegation of treatment, and discharge planning) to patients in the acute care setting per facility policy and standards.
