Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide per diem therapy, discharge planning, and patient education. The OT will supervise OTAs and students, conduct individualized treatment regimens, and monitor patient progress as part of a dedicated inpatient recovery team.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling (no holidays or weekends) and participation in continuing education.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services
