Job summary

California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City, Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for Inpatient per diem (8-hr shift). Schedule requires 2 weekend shifts per month and 2 holidays per year. Pay rate is $66.00 per hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

This role involves discharge planning, supervision of OT staff, and direct patient therapy. Qualified candidates will hold state OT licensure, have BLS, and at least 1 year of acute care or inpatient rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment is required.
• Minimum 1 year acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise OTAs, as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
