Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Daytona Beach is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a per diem role in Daytona Beach, FL. The schedule is As Needed, with a compensation rate of $51.00 per hour.

You will join a team dedicated to post-ICU care and compassionate patient treatment, with opportunities for engagement in discharge planning and professional development. The ideal candidate will hold an active OT license in Florida and meet BLS requirements, with potential pathways toward full-time

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in‑services.
