Physio is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist/Hand Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic team in Atlanta, GA. This role offers PRN scheduling, a hands-on setting, and opportunities to contribute to patient recovery and athletic goals.

You will provide individualized therapy, stay current with best practices, collaborate with physicians and referral sources, and ensure compliant documentation while mentoring teammates as needed. License, CPR, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• State OT license or license eligible.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Stay current with OT research and evidence-based practice.
• Build relationships with referral sources and patients.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to set goals and plan care.
• Adhere to state practice acts and regulations governing OT.
• Design and implement new programs per HIPAA guidelines with management approval.
• Lead and supervise OT care within regulatory guidelines.
• Provide comprehensive, individualized treatment and timely documentation.

Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Location: 855 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 1B, Viewpoint Atlanta, GA 30308

Schedule: PRN, we are open Mon - Fri

Salary: $50-$55/hour pending experience

Our Physio outpatient orthopedic team is seeking a Per Diem occupational therapist/hand therapist to join us in providing quality patient care.

• Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
• Build Relationships: Enhance, develop and expand relationships with referral sources and maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
• Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
• High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how OTs may practice and whom they may supervise.
• Innovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.
• Leadership: Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.
• Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and demonstrate completion of patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
• State Occupational Therapist license (or license eligible)
• CPR certification
• Valid state driver’s license
