• Verify blood products at bedside with a second OT before transfusion.
• Support family meetings and pace information delivery accordingly.
• Coach patients through terminology and regimens until routines are self-managed.
• Translate care plans into daily tasks for the nursing team on a full-time schedule.
• Set IV lines on difficult cases to minimize attempts.
• Handover at shift change using SBAR with no gaps.
